The website www.mbe.hr is owned by MBE Adriatic d.o.o. (hereinafter referred to as MBE). MBE provides access to the services and content of www.mbe.hr, which is governed by these Terms of Purchase.
For the purposes of these Terms of Purchase, the buyer is a natural or legal person who orders at least one product or service, provides the required information, and pays for the ordered product through the website www.mbe.hr.
If the buyer’s information includes details of a legal entity, the buyer is considered the legal entity, while the individual whose information is provided is regarded as the authorized representative of the buyer.
To place a valid order for a product and/or service, the person completing the order must be over 18 years old (legally capable).
The buyer is responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the information provided during registration.
MBE reserves the right to modify these Terms of Purchase and may make changes without prior notice, but commits to informing all registered users via the email addresses provided during registration.
Any changes will apply to the use of the www.mbe.hr website.
MBE commits to clearly and visibly display the retail price in accordance with Article 7 of the Consumer Protection Act (Official Gazette 41/14). Periodically, at its discretion, MBE may offer certain products at promotional prices lower than their regular retail prices or under special conditions, which will be clearly indicated on this website. MBE also commits to clearly displaying the duration of any promotional sale or special offer. After the expiration of a promotional period or special offer, orders will no longer be accepted under the terms of the expired promotion.
Product images are for illustrative purposes only and may not always match the ordered products in every detail. MBE emphasizes that the visual appearance of a product in a photo may differ from the actual product, especially due to the buyer’s monitor settings, differences in color perception on screens, and similar factors.
In cases where there is a discrepancy between the product shown in a photo and the delivered product, this does not constitute a product defect.
Product information (description, price, etc.) displayed on www.mbe.hr may contain errors due to display issues (bugs), application malfunctions, other technical irregularities, typographical mistakes, and similar issues. In the event of obvious errors or inaccuracies in product information on www.mbe.hr, MBE reserves the right to unilaterally cancel the order.
Orders can only include products indicated as available in stock or unique services that are obtainable/deliverable within 15 to 20 business days, excluding weekends.
If an ordered product is not available in stock, MBE will notify the buyer that the product is currently unavailable, provide an estimated delivery time, and offer the option to purchase an alternative product from the www.mbe.hr assortment that is available for delivery and closely matches the characteristics of the unavailable product.
Products can be ordered by selecting them from the menu and completing a simple electronic form on our website. Buyers can place an order and purchase products as registered or unregistered users. An order is considered placed once the buyer completes the entire ordering process. Products can also be ordered by phone.

An order is considered received:
For credit card or PayPal payments – when www.mbe.hr receives confirmation of the card pre-authorization or PayPal approval for the order amount.
For e-banking/bank transfer – when www.mbe.hr receives the order electronically.
Once the order is received, MBE will notify the buyer via email that the order has been successfully placed.
If the buyer does not receive this notification, it is recommended to check:
Whether the email is in the Junk/Spam folder
Whether the mailbox is full
Whether the items are in the cart after logging in to www.mbe.hr; if not, the buyer should repeat the ordering process
Once the product is packaged in the warehouse, MBE will notify the buyer via email that the product has been shipped to the specified delivery address.
BANK TRANSFER (VIRMANSKOM UPLATOM)
After placing an order using bank transfer, a proforma invoice will be sent via email. Payment can be made at a bank or post office counter, or via online banking. The proforma invoice is valid for 3 business days, after which the order is automatically canceled.
Ordered items are only produced upon receipt of payment.
CREDIT CARD PAYMENT
For credit card payments, the contract is considered concluded once MBE receives confirmation of the card pre-authorization for the order amount. MBE will then produce the product according to the ordered specifications.
The credit card payment system is not integrated into www.mbe.hr; the system automatically redirects you to the secure CORVUS PAY service page for card authorization. After selecting “Credit Card” and completing the order, fields will appear to enter card details. Cardholder information is not stored on our servers and is not visible to us.
Your card is not charged immediately but only at the time of shipping, allowing the possibility to replace an item if a product is unavailable.
Selected products can also be paid in installments. Choose the number of installments (from 2 to X); your card will be charged monthly according to your selection, with no interest.
The purchase is completed after successful card authorization. If the system fails to authorize the card, choose an alternative payment method. We do not have information about the reason for declined card payments, which may be technical or business-related.
PAYPAL
If you choose to pay via PayPal, your order will be redirected to PayPal.com. A valid PayPal account is required. For more information, visit www.paypal.com. PayPal offers buyer protection for its users.
PayPal users complete the payment on the PayPal website. After entering all information, click the confirmation button to receive an order confirmation via email, or a message to correct any errors and repeat the final step.
PayPal currently does not accept payments in Croatian Kuna; therefore, the purchase amount will be converted and charged in Euros. Exchange rate differences may occur during conversion. MBE Adriatic d.o.o. is not responsible for currency conversion fees charged by PayPal.
By selecting and customizing a specific product, it is added to the “Cart” menu.
Prices displayed on the website next to each product apply to all payment methods and include applicable taxes. Through the “Cart” menu, the buyer can view the selected products, their quantities, and prices.
Next, the buyer proceeds to the order form, where personal information must be entered. If the buyer’s personal information differs from the recipient’s, the buyer must indicate the recipient’s details by selecting the appropriate option.
After the order information is submitted, a confirmation message will appear on the screen, and the buyer will receive an email confirmation at the specified address.
If e-banking or bank transfer is selected as the payment method and www.mbe.hr does not have the ordered product in stock, MBE will notify the buyer within a reasonable time that the product is unavailable, provide an estimated availability date, and offer the option to purchase an alternative product from the www.mbe.hr assortment that is available for delivery and closely matches the unavailable product, or offer a full refund.
In the case of a refund, the buyer is responsible for the accuracy and correctness of the information provided, as www.mbe.hr will process the refund according to the submitted details.
All prices are expressed in the national currency of the Republic of Croatia, Croatian Kuna (HRK), including taxes. For e-banking and bank transfer payments, any payment or interbank transaction fees are not included in the price.
If PayPal is selected as the payment method, the system redirects you to the official PayPal website, where currency conversion and payment are processed. PayPal currently does not accept payments in Kuna, so the purchase amount will be converted and charged in Euros. Please note that when a credit card is charged in Kuna via PayPal, significant exchange rate differences may occur. MBE Adriatic d.o.o. is not responsible for, nor does it cover, any currency conversion fees charged by PayPal to its users.
We deliver products throughout the Republic of Croatia, with deliveries handled by the MBE Adriatic d.o.o. courier service.
The delivery cost for packages within Croatia is 40.00 HRK, including VAT. Local pickup is also available free of charge at the specified branches.
DELIVERY TIME
Upon receiving the order, the production time for the product according to specifications is 3 to 5 business days, after which the product is handed over for shipment to the customer. The total delivery time to the customer is typically 5 to 7 business days.
Once the product is shipped, we will send an email with contact details so you can inquire about the current status of the delivery. Please note that we cannot influence the speed of delivery or potential complications during shipping.
For every shipment, the recipient must sign and acknowledge the delivery note upon receipt. According to the provisions of the Law on Obligations, the recipient’s acknowledgment confirms that the package was received in an undamaged condition, releasing the courier service from any subsequent liability.
If the recipient is not present at the specified address or the address is unknown, the courier service will attempt to contact the recipient to arrange a suitable delivery time or an alternative address. If delivery is not possible, the package will be returned to the www.mbe.hr warehouse.
We commit to timely delivery of your order, provided all your details are completed accurately and truthfully.
For islands covered by our courier service, products will be delivered according to a special schedule, about which you will be informed. For all other islands not covered by our service, products will be sent via HP (Croatian Post).
MBE is responsible for material defects in the products it sells on its website, in accordance with the legal regulations of the Republic of Croatia, particularly the Law on Obligations.
Ordered products are packaged to prevent damage during normal handling in transport and delivery.
If a shipment is damaged during transport, such damage will be visible upon receipt. In such cases, we recommend that the buyer does not accept the shipment. Customers should contact us promptly so we can assess the situation and send a replacement.
If a visible defect is found upon receipt, the buyer is not obligated to accept the delivered product and may refuse it. Products that are properly received by the buyer are considered free of visible defects.
Upon receiving the goods, it is the buyer’s responsibility to check the order. The buyer must compare the received items with the invoice and, if anything is missing, submit a written complaint to MBE within eight days, as subsequent claims will not be accepted.
By refusing to accept a shipment, the courier will return the package to MBE with a note indicating that the shipment contains a defect.
If a product has a hidden defect (one that could not be detected during normal inspection at the time of receipt), which the buyer discovers upon opening the product, the buyer is entitled to unilaterally terminate the contract and receive a refund, request a replacement product, have the defect remedied, or request a price reduction.
Under specific European Union regulations, as of February 15, 2016, disputes related to online purchases across the EU can be resolved through the ODR platform. The platform is available at http://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/.
This means that if you encounter a problem during an online purchase within the EU, or disputes related to online ordering, you should first attempt to resolve it without involving the courts.
This link can be used by consumers for cross-border disputes. For consumer disputes with traders based in the Republic of Croatia, this option is not currently available until the procedure is supported by the necessary legal regulations from the competent authorities in Croatia.
The buyer has the right to return products and receive a refund within 15 days without providing a reason.
The buyer must ensure that:
The product packaging is undamaged
All parts of the product are intact and have not been damaged through improper handling
Nothing from the product packaging contents is missing
The 15-day period for returning products and receiving a refund begins on the day the product is delivered to the buyer or to a third party designated by the buyer, who is not the carrier.
Refunds will be made using the same payment method within 30 days of receiving the returned product. If the buyer agrees to an alternative refund method, no additional costs will be incurred.
The refunded amount may be reduced to cover possible fees charged by card operators if the product was originally paid for by card.
The buyer must return or send the product without undue delay, and in any case, no later than 14 days from the day the buyer communicated their decision to return the product.
Direct costs of returning the product are borne by the buyer.
The buyer is responsible for any reduction in the product’s value resulting from handling the product, except for what is necessary to determine the nature, characteristics, and functionality of the product.

MBE is not liable for any damage resulting from the use of this website or from using the information on this website for purposes beyond their intended use.
